There was a Fiesta celebration and fireworks display at Ft. Sam Houston. My family has roots here. My mom and dad met here and married here. Two of my siblings and I were born in this hospital on the post. My family lived here when my dad was stationed here, and my parents retired here so this is a home base for us.
This is how people dress up during Fiesta. Notice the sash with medals. People collect the Fiesta medals that are passed out by the royalty people.
Here is Susie greeting King Antonio while at the ceremony at Ft. Sam. They went to school together and were in the marching band together.
