Former Student, Josh

One of my former students in Sioux Center, Josh, attends Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. He was always such a great student, and I always remembered his Mars Base model he created in 6th grade. He has decided to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering and chose to go to Embry-Riddle which is a very good school. In fact 2 of the astronauts who just went up on the Discovery were graduates of this very fine school. Before we left Florida we were fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy Josh's company for lunch at a restaurant on the beach, and then we got a little tour of the school. It was so nice to hear how he's so fired up for his college career and how he's enjoying going to school at Embry-Riddle. Sioux Center can be proud, as I am, to have him be a representative of our community.
