Easter Visit with Cardonas

We always enjoy getting to visit with the Cardonas down in Papillion.  This time we got to see Christian perform with his Bathtub Dogs acapella group.  We enjoyed their spring show.  What talent!!

Aren't Logan and Sheyanne dressed up nicely for Easter?

We also celebrated Angelica's birthday. She is a fan of "Dr. Who" so her cake was decorated thus.

Hanging out at the Cardona's.

Bob and I spent the day with Sheyanne while everyone else had to go to work.  That's the beauty of being retired.

We walked across the pedestrian walk going over the Missouri River to Iowa.  So we walked from Nebraska to Iowa in just a few minutes.  Can you tell it was a windy day?

We had fun at the park on the Iowa side before walking back to Nebraska.

There's always time for swimming.

Dee joining in.  Sheyanne was hiding.

Look at Logan without any floating device.

Happy Birthday to Me

For my birthday I finally decided it was time to unwrap and start eating my chocolate swans that Bob got me in San Antonio a couple of years ago.  It was difficult to eat them, but I did, slowly but surely.

Bob knows what I like.

Tuscaloosa Visit on Our Way Home From Florida

On our way home from Florida, we always visit Tuscaloosa.  One of the things Bob likes to do is go to Jeannie's classroom and give them a magic show.  Here he is having fun with the kids.

We also enjoy visiting with Jessica and her family.

Here's MeeMaw with Julianne.  Ahhhh!

Buddy built these play boards for Dexter and Dreydon.  They love them.

Here's Buddy, the toy maker, cabinet maker, all around great builder of neat things.

Family love.

We took everyone out to Chick Fil A.  Derek got to join us even though he was pretty busy.  Glad he could.

We always enjoy visiting with Joe, Karen, and Summer.  I think Taylor was off doing his own thing, probably scouts.

You can't help but love this guy.

Great mother-daughter picture.

He does have a serious side also.

Beautiful Florida Beach

This is the beach  about 2 blocks away from where we live in Florida in the winter.  I can handle it.  It beats shoveling snow.  That's for sure.

Golfing With Tom

We have a friend in the Tampa area and we like to visit him while we're in Florida so we made the trip over there before we left Florida this past spring.  He loves to golf and he's even willing to go golfing with us even though we are not good golfers.  I enjoy the golf cart ride and hitting a few good ones, but keeping score is way too difficult.

We usually see wild turkeys on the golf course when we visit there, sure enough, they were there again.

Love of Swans

Many people know that I love and collect swans of all types.  One day while at Charlene's she decided to decorate my meal of chicken with this beautiful tin foil swan.  It made the chicken tasted especially good.  Charlene is a very good cook, very creative, and willing to go that extra mile to make a meal even more appealing.  Thank you, Charlene.
