Fiesta Arts Fair

We decided to go downtown to see the Fiesta Arts Fair. There's always interesting things there.

One attraction for Fiesta is the Royalty who show up at all the events and who go to schools to promote staying in school, etc. A lot of Fiesta is promoting charities and businesses in the city and they know how to party. The first picture below is King Antonio, who is a different person every year. It just so happens that my sister, Susie, went to school with him and was in the marching band with him. Anyway I got some pictures of some of the royalty who were walking around through the art fair.

Cooling off at a fountain.
Here we are.

Susie riding a banana made out of bottle tops.
This is a wheel you can turn to pick the game you want to play. Cute idea.
Downtown they have these bikes you can use while downtown. You pay according to the distance/time you go. There are monitors that record where you get it and where you leave it and the time you have it. The first half hour is free. Cool idea!!!!
We also visited the downtown public library to see the art there.
The entrance.
This is a beautiful all-glass structure inside the library.
Examples of Fiesta posters. They make T-shirts from the designs too.
