I have a friend named Pat who made a friend hopping trip. She went to Watertown, SD to visit some friends she made while teaching in Germany. From there she visited some "hometown" friends in Sioux Falls. Then she visited me on her way home. While she was in Watertown she went to a thrift shop and bought a really nice mirror. When she tried to load it into her car, she discovered it was too big and did not fit in her car. Her friend in Watertown had an appointment in Sioux Falls so he took it in his truck to her friend's house in Sioux Falls. She also made arrangements with me to come up to Sioux Falls to pick up the mirror with plans to deliver it to her in Boone on our trip between Waterloo and Omaha. It all worked out so perfectly.
Here we are delivering her mirror in Boone. It's a pretty nice one.
While we were there in Boone we took a tour of Pat's gardens in her yard. She has been working hard to make her place look really nice. By the way, her favorite color is purple. You might see that color as a prominent one.
