Saying Good Bye

It's time to back track and get everyone caught up with before we left Iowa and our trip to Florida.

First we drove to Des Moines to have lunch with Cari and Dave. We met them at their house and enjoyed a really good meal at a nice restaurant near their place. We had a very nice visit. Sorry no pictures.

Then we made a trip up to Waterloo to share a meal with Bob's son, Brian. Then the two of them also went shopping for shoes while I did some shopping on my own. They did the fastest shopping trip I've ever seen. So I didn't really have time to do too much. That was OK though.
Here are father and son. Notice Bob's lack of hair. He shaved it off so he could get some growths on his head checked by the doctor. He's OK.

Afterwards we went to visit Rachel and her family. I had the opportunity to meet Craig this time so that was very nice. Grandpa Bob had fun showing magice tricks to Reagan, Drew and anyone else who would watch. We had a very nice time and were glad to spend some time with them before we left for the south for the winter.

On our way out of the state, we stopped and had dinner with Stacy, Dane, and Brett. Curt was busy in the field so we were sorry to miss him. I was especially happy to meet them. We had a nice meal and visit. Sorry no picutures this time, but we have pictures in our memory. Next time we'll take pictures.

We hope that we will be able to enjoy more visits in the future. Bob has very nice children, and he and I are very proud of them.
