Visit with Buddy and Heather and Family

The other visit we really enjoy as we head north to Iowa is our visit with Buddy and Heather and their family, Garrison, Rachel, Kimbo, and Naddie.

We got up early and went to two softball double headers, for Rachel and for Kimbo.  It was a very warm day, but we were at a very nice park that had a pond with ducks.  If you wanted a rest from games it was a nice area to visit,  which we did.

Here are the soft ball players. This is Rachel up to bat.

 Ready to go.
 Rachel was a pitcher.

This is Kimbo.  She was a catcher.

This is Kimbo warming up to be at bat.
Here she is up to bat.

Kimbo getting ready to run Home.

Sunday we went to a church where  Temple Grandin spoke on autism.  It was a great talk.  Afterwards, we stood in line to buy her books, have her autograph them, and take pictures with her.

In the afternoon, we all met my cousin, Susie, and  her son, Travis, for  roller skating.  This is one of Bob's favorite things to do and everyone seems to enjoy it.
