Get Together With Bob's Children and Grandchildren Nov., 2010

The weekend before Thanksgiving we had the pleasure of being able to share some time with Bob's kids and their families. Since two of his daughters, Rachel and Stacy, had plans to be in a race event in Des Moines and since his other daughter, Cari, lives in Des Moines, we took advantage of that time to have a family get together. Rachel also brought Bob's son, Brian, who also joined us for our meal time together. We had a very nice time with everyone and hope there will be many more times in the future to share special family times.

Stacy, Curt, Dane, and Brett arrived Fri. night and Cari and Dave joined us that night with a fun swim time at the motel.

Rachel, and her kids, Reagan and Drew came later and we had more swiming fun with them. Racing fun.

Sat. morning Rachel and Stacy went off to their race while the rest of us went to the swimming pool again. Curt was there to take care of DAne and Brett, and Grandpa Bob and I took care of Reagan and Drew. Cari joined in on the swimming fun too.

After swimming and after the race we all gathered at the Machine Shed restaurant in Des Moines and shared a good meal and good company.

From the restaurant, we went to Cari's and Dave's house, and Grandpa Bob gave a magic show.

To end a wonderful visit, Cari and Dave served delicious pies from Baker's Square so you know they were good. Pumpkin pie and French Silk pie. MMMMmmm good. Thank you so much.
