Tonkawa, OK Family House

A few years ago we visited my Aunt Rosemary in Amarillo, TX (now she's 96 yr. old.) She told us about the house they built for my grandfather who was the superintendent of schools in Tonkawa, OK. We visited there on our way home and through some detective work which led us to the woman in charge of the historical society there, we found the house. It is represented in a book of historical homes in Ponca Co. and Tonkawa. We didn't have a camera at the time so no picutures. So on our way down to TX this trip we looked up the house again and took pictures. We also found the owners home and they were gracious and invited us in and we had a very nice visit. They have owned the house since in the 60's. They have kept it in very good condition and have added an outdoor pool. This is where my father was born. It was built in 1914 and my dad was born 1916. Here are some picures.
