Just before Christmas, we drove down to Des Moines just before a blizzard hit, and spent some fun times with Brian, Cari, Dave, and Winston. This is what it looked like on their patio porch before the storm hit. You'll see it again later.
We met up with Brian and we all had a nice meal and visit. Afterwards we all went to Cari's and Dave's and played a fun game of Apples to Apples.
After the snow storm hit, Winston wanted to go out for a walk and Cari was so gracious and took him out. What fun.
We all stayed home and kept nice and warm and cozy.
Winston liked that idea too when he got back.
Here's what their porch looked like after the storm. I think they got about 8 inches. They live west of the main city of Des Moines which reportedly got over a foot of snow. The snow did delay our departure a day, but we had fun being in Des Moines and enjoying everyone's company a little bit longer, which we did. I guess we had so much fun I forgot to take any more pictures.
