Visit with Helen, Green, Ginny and Joy

Ever since we've been in San Antonio, we've been intending to drive up to Austin to visit my cousin, Helen, her husband, Green, their daughter, Ginny, and their friend, Joy. Well today we decided it was the day to drive up there. I'm so glad we did. We had a great meal, Rudy's BBQ. Mmmm Good!!!!!!!! Then we visited for quite a while. It was fun getting caught up again and talking about fond memories of family moments. We always enjoy visiting with them. We were sorry to have missed my cousin, Janet, Helen's sister, who visited about a week earlier. We'll have to look her up in Colorado.

Here are Helen and Green.

This is Ginny and her friend, Joy. They were getting the food ready to put on the table.

This is the picture of a needlework project that took Helen about 6 years to create. The Chagall Windows represent the 12 sons of the Patriarch Jacob, from whom came the Twelve Tribes of Israel. It is a needle point version of a stained glass window that exists at a synagogue in Israel. Very impressive. For more info check out this website:
