Visit in San Antonio With Sisters and Extended Family Work Edition

Since I got to Susie's  before my sisters, I had the distinct pleasure of helping Susie get ready.  We put the Christmas decorations away with Erin's help, we cleared out the den/storage room/ play room/bedroom to create a pretty nice bedroom.  We should have taken before pictures so you can appreciate all the work we did, but we forgot.  Believe me, it was a major transformation.  We also cleared out a lot in the garage.  We threw stuff away, took stuff to Goodwill, and organizes some.  It made a difference.  There's still work to be done, but we made a dent and created a nice bedroom.

We also organized the sitting room and play room for Max.

Susie created this "race" scene.  It was a tie.

Then after Kathy and Patsy left, Susie and I rented the carpet shampoo machine and cleaned her living area carpet which needed it so much.  Here are some before pictures.

 Here are some after shampooing pictures.  It is hard to see the real difference, but it was quite evident.  It was a tough job and we weren't sure we really wanted to do it, but we got it done.  Yea!!!!  Next time, hire it done.  That's our advice.

Susie wanted to rearrange the furniture so we thought and thought and thought.  We didn't change it a lot, but it looks more cozy and there's a play area behind the love seat where Susie will hide Max's toys   She bought some storage bins to put on the shelves too.  Good job.
